Yes, I will serve on the Board. Thanks for asking me. I look forward to working with so many friends and acquaintances.
David ran an informal picture of me in connection with an article that I wrote in the February-March 2016 issue of the Sun. I’m not sure where he got it, but if he can dig up the original file, it’s probably more appropriate than the coat-and-tie picture used on my law firm’s website.

Hi Monty,
The Seattle Bridge Unit board appreciates your willingness to serve bridge and the unit. We are excited for the opportunity to serve with you! As there were fewer than five declared candidates for the 2018-20 term, there will not be an election. Please confirm you will serve for the 2018-20 term. In anticipation of your acceptance, we welcome you to the unit board!
We will ask David Wright to include in The Sun newsletter an article about the unit board election and the incoming class of board members. Please send a head & shoulders or similar pic that can be included in the article.
By tradition, the unit board hosts a holiday party as its final meeting of the year, usually around mid-December. Various officials and volunteers are invited, as are incoming board members and their partners/guests. It's a nice way for current and new board members to enjoy social time and express appreciation to others. We hope you and your spouse/guest will be able to attend. More info to come in the months ahead as the board plans out this event.
If you would like any info or insights into the board's current activities, please just let us know.
Thank you,
Tim
