                                Hi all District and Unit Presidents,

                                Many of you probably know by now that the ACBL Board of Directors has appointed a Search Committee to find a new CEO to who will hopefully be on Board by mid-year 2017. Robert Hartman has announced his retirement effective July 2017. Robert has been with us more than five years, and we are grateful for his years with us.  

                                Our board feels strongly that we want our CEO to be a bridge player familiar with our structure. The Search Committee is reaching out to Bridge Magazines, Newspaper Bridge Columnists, the Internet, the ACBL Bulletin, the ACBL website, USBF, CBF, and WBF websites and now to our districts and units. 

                                We would be most grateful if you would contact your webmaster and the district/unit publication and ask them to post information about our search.

                                If you are willing to do this, please see the linked copy of the job description on the ACBL website. We need to find a CEO who sees the same visions for the future of our game as we do.
