The period for unit members to declare candidacy for a 2018-2020 term on the board concludes Aug 31.  

I've contacted about a dozen folks to encourage them to become candidates; thus far none have expressed an intention to do so.  

I suggest you encourage unit members you believe would serve well on the board to consider candidacy.

Please alert the board when contacted by a member indicating intent to become a candidate.
