[SBU Board] Trifecta Update

Here is a quick update about the Fast Pairs last night.

We had 10 full tables with a good mix of people. 11 A pairs, 4 B pairs and 5 C pairs. Last year we had 9 ½ tables for your reference.

Also, usually unit games are $9. Nick thought it was $10. Nobody complained. :)

Club Fees:                   $12/table up to 10 tables and then $10/table after that
                                    10 tables = $120 for Alki
Director Fees:             $80 for up to 10 tables, and $5/table above that
                                    10 tables = $80 for Nick
Sanction Fees:            10 tables @ $1.25/table =  $12.50 for sanction fees

Entry fees:                  40 participants X $10 = $400

Hospitality:                 Ann?

$400 entries fees - $212.50 in expenses = $187.50 (minus hospitality)

One thing we should talk about for next year (Mike R :)). There was a board that got taken away from a table because they couldn't get it finished in time. Nick scored it as a "no play". In all actuality, one or both pairs should have been penalized MP's. That is the whole point of fast pairs. I know we teeter on the line of "make this a good event" and "make this fun for everybody". We should talk about how we want the director to do in the future.
