My memory of years past is that the NLM sectional size is correlated strongly with the effort that teachers and club owners push their NLM players to go play in it, moreso than for the open sectionals. The particularly large game in 2015 I know Patti and possibly others did a lot of promotion of the game. I suspect an NLM held at a club would get a lot of promotion from that club. :)


I lot of the new players are coming via Alan Tesler's classes at the M.I. Jewish Community Center (the 'J').  Could we get him into this conversation?  Is the J a possibility?
