[SBU Board] Rental Fees for July Suntan Sectional at Forest Ridge

Folks,

July will be the first time U446 has hosted an open sectional at Forest Ridge.  At the time the board approved this venue for this tournament, the rental fees were yet to be finalized.

Recently, Kim (our board member as well as the facility manager) and John W (our Treasurer) reviewed Kim's following proposed rental fee schedule:  $500 rent plus $450 janitorial ($100 Friday + $150 Saturday + $200 Sunday) for total fees of $950.

In recent years, as part of its decisions to approve "first time" venues the board has implicitly approved the rental fees.  Since the rental fees for Forest Ridge were not finalized at the time the unit board approved the venue, I would like to now offer board members the opportunity to weigh in on the proposed rental fees.  Absent objection to the proposed fees, I would like us to consider them approved.

Among the Terms and Conditions of the rental agreement are that (a) U446 is responsible for damage in excess of normal wear and tear and (b) U446 is responsible for picking up trash and garbage.   I would be fine with U446 bearing the cost of an additional trash service pick up (as we've done at Bothell) if that were necessary to restore trash container capacity to that needed for the facility's ongoing operations.
