[SBU Board] Treasurer's Report (and Dereliction of Duty)

Greetings all!

Sherry and I leave for Antarctica Thursday, returning March 5.
I will therefore miss both the Sweetheart Sectional and the Board Meeting March 7.

Tim has VERY graciously agreed to discharge the duties of the Treasurer at the sectional this weekend, and to do the banking afterwards.
He already has the checkbook and the relevant files and records.

As of right now, our bank balances are:

	Checking		$16,473.20
	Certif of Deposit	  15,358.51

	TOTAL			  31,831.71

The tournament will, of course, alter significantly the checking account balance.
As soon as possible after I return to town, I will compile and provide to you a financial summary of the tournament.
And I will provide the usual monthly Treasurer’s report in advance of our April board meeting.

I feel badly about shirking my duties, and apologize to you for any inconveniences.
