[SBU Board] Fall Sectional Considerations -- Comments Sought

I am going to be out of the country for the January meeting. I will try to
be available via phone. I am concerned about changes to the NLM
tournaments. I know many are angry with NSC for the mistakes and rent
increase but perhaps we need to reconsider. In checking with other
colleges, NSC has been much more reasonable. Perhaps they are moving their
rates to be more inline with the others and are still much more affordable
than Bellevue and Highline. I really don't like moving everything to
Bothell even tho the price is very attractive. I think we need to be more
in touch with the newbies. I would suggest sending a personal, colorful
"congratulations" email with any rank advancement along with a NLM
tournament reminder. They are very pleased with a little recognition. I
would be willing to send emails if someone would make up something special
for me to send to various ranks.
