Hey JC,

I finally had time to go through all of the data last night.

Thank you for all of your work on this as I know it took a lot of time to write, collect and compile the data.

I found it all very interesting. It is clear we won’t make everybody happy, but it is nice to have data pointing us to what will make the majority happy. The one point that stood out to me so clearly was the need for us to move at least one more tournament to the earlier start times. The “seasoned” players weren’t calling for this, but the less experienced players definitely were. And this is coming from someone who prefers the late start times. ☺

Anyway, just wanted to say thank you for all of your hard work on this.

The tournaments survey is now closed (daily responses have been at 0 for 14+ days).  I'm attaching a bunch of docs summarizing findings:

I'm attaching a bunch of survey data. Below is what is attached, in numeric order of what I'd look at or read first if I were short on time and wanted the basics:

  1.  SurveyTopline.docx - Word doc format, summarizes the survey findings at a high level, providing most key findings and interesting notes (the last section is new vs. what we reviewed at the board meeting)
  2.  SurveyTextSummary.xlsx - Excel spreadsheet, first tab summarizes the text responses in the survey into topics, additional tabs give the anonymized responses in full
  3.  FullSummaryOfSurvey.pdf - PDF format (Adobe Reader), summary of all responses except text responses (to keep it anonymized)
  4.  NewerPlayers.pdf - PDF format (Adobe Reader), summary of responses filtered for newer players (0-750) only
  5.  SeasonedPlayers.pdf - PDF format (Adobe Reader), summary of responses filtered for seasoned players (751+) only

I will also upload all of this to the unit Google drive.
