Just a reminder, Jeff, that I’m gone for this meeting and next.

I thought the Valentine’s sectional generally went quite well.  Sunday’s B tournament was unfortunately out of sync with the other  events.   I’m sure that was distracting to the B players, and it also interfered with the clean-up effort because we had to stand around waiting for their final round.

We have to continue to address promotional issues to encourage greater attendance.  The Kent sectional is a special opportunity for us to take new steps to get greater attendance.  We have the enthusiasm of several club directors in the south end, who would like to see the tournament succeed.  That is a plus.  Perhaps we should also reach out to south end unit boards to see if they will help us promote Kent.  All units should cooperate to promote greater overall participation in Puget Sound bridge activities regardless of specific sponsorship.
