I've been looking into lunch options for Bothell, and want to run this by
you:
I want to run something by you for lunch at the Sectional. Costco has
trays of sandwiches, made on large croissants (sp). If that was your
lunch, with a side salad and chips, and a bottle of water would you be OK
with it? Choices will be ham, roast beef, turkey, etc., with side
condiments. We'll have a veggie option per usual.
the price for 180 sandwiches will be $600 plus tax, which is reasonable.
(tray of 9 costs $30, we'll need 20 trays, which is $600)
I'm thinking of side salad (maybe two choices, potato (from Costco) and
three bean)--the advantages is that we won't have to made, just scoop up
and serve in bowls, and I can pick up the sandwiches and potato salad at
same time on Sunday, without having to refrigerate.
assuming the sandwich costs around $4.00, and the salads another $1 per
place, and the chips/water another 50 cents, and the plates/cutlery and
tax...I think the cost per person will be about $6, and we can charge our
usual $7.00 per person to cover any shorts.
thoughts?
If this is OK with you all, I'll run with it. I'll need help on Sunday
serving up the salads and sandwiches (Ann, any of your cast of caddies
interested?). Right now I'm not playing so can help pick up the food and
organize the meal.
Ann
