[SBU Board] Beating the Drum in Federal Way

FYI, Sherry and I will be going to Federal Way this Tuesday morning 3/3 to play in Dennie Dye’s club game.
We will make a pitch for our May tournament in Kent, and will distribute a pack of flyers.
She says they are very excited (and grateful) that we have scheduled a sectional down there, and is confident the players in her area will turn out in force.

I am also trying to get a feel for what we might do the increase the attendance by “her” players’ at our other sectionals.
Dennie says the major impediments include: 
(1) the long distances to the other venues we have been using, combined with the traffic they encounter to get to/from; and
(2) so many of her players just don’t want to play at night – even in a local club game.

We might learn more when we are down there, and will share it with you.

Dennie also has a Thursday morning game.
We might make another trip down there to attend that one.
But she says they are a lot of the same people who play Tuesday.
So we might take a pass on Thursday.
I mean, it is so far,.... And the traffic....
