We've been putting up detailed results during the sectional for as long as
I've been attending them. This provides a few things the ACBL results don't:
- People can review them during the tournament (ACBL results won't be up
until Monday at the earliest.)
- We post results for everyone, not just the people who placed.
- We include matchpoint details that can be used to review individual
boards and find errors.
During tournaments we get about 150 people a day visiting the site,
primarily to look at results.
I think stopping this service altogether would bring complaints from
tournament participants, but I could be wrong. We can discuss this in a
future meeting.
