I love your memo John and think it is a great starting point for
disucssion. D19 is also thinking about some of these things (tied to
education, but really, the issue of growing bridge is much bigger than I/N
or education...)....

As a Unit we do a lot of things really well, including putting on the Shows
4-5 times a year.  Unfortunately, strategic thinking is something we rarely
have the time (or the quorum) to discuss.  I think the idea of a retreat
focusing on this topic is extremely relevant to the Unit. I'd love to help
make this happen.
