Patti,
NSC CC1161 is far too small for NLM + GNTs, much less a student event in addition. Amy has said Baxter Events Center at NSC is not available for rent in April for GNTs -- prospect of renovation of that wing. She offered the old cafeteria for GNTs, but it is far larger than needed and pricey. For a 12-hour day, the old cafeteria would be about $830 plus clean up whereas Bothell is $555 plus clean up. For two days that's a $550 difference.
How firm is the student competition and what is its synergy with NLM sectional that makes it attractive to co-site these events? Why can the student competition not be held as a standalone event? How many students will there be and where will they be coming from? Perhaps Ann should explore arranging for a coach or other transportation to the tournament site, wherever it is.
It would appear unworkable for David to transport equipment for set up and tear down both at Bothell and NSC in parallel on both Saturday and Sunday.

We can fit 70+ tables at Bothell which will be more than enough for both the NLM sectional and the GNTs, with space left over for a school event if that materializes. And Bothell is quite a bit lower cost than NSC. The reason for going to Bothell was to avoid having David haul equipment to and from 2 different sites (NSC and Bothell) on the same day(s).
