season's greetings

Ironically, my parents have been using Ubuntu as their only OS for 5 years,
and I have been successful as everything from a reverse-engineer to a company
executive using Linux as my primary OS for years. Started this journey
running Caldera in 1998, and aside from a forced Windows stint from 2011-2013,
I've been enjoying Linux for all my laptops and desktops ever since. These
past few years I hardly feel like I'm counter-cultural. It's kinda odd.

I'm enjoying reading your updates.
I don't have time to share my latest, but long and short is: still an
executive for a small cybersecurity research firm, heading up research and
innovation for the team. Interesting times.
Kids are a crazy 14, 17, and 19, and College is a whacked out time as a
parent.

Thank you all for the important role you and this (and previous) list has
played in my technical development!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
