I don't know, I have two kids in college (Electrical Engineering & Computer
Science) and as much as people would like to think that
tablets/phones/Chromebooks are taking over, there is still a very large
market for full blown laptops and desktops.  As always, it depends on your
application.  Every once in a while I hear a scream about how crappy Google
Docs is when one of them is writing a group project paper.  Especially if
there are a lot of diagrams.

BTW, I'm writing this on a trash can (Mac Pro).  Terrible design for a
desktop.
