Still crazy after all these years

Hey, Klaus-Peter,

I'm from the right side of the Pond as well! (before too many of you
respond I mean of course "Right" when looking at the map facing North!).

I did have a marvellous month in the States with my daughter, though, over
Christmas and New Year. She is currently working In Augusta, and I took the
opportunity to visit 28 American Civil War sites from there. Because of
time constraints I could not get to Gettysburg but covered the Eastern
Campaigns and the Shenandoah Valley from Harpers Ferry to Cross, and of
course the war from Chatenooga to the sea. It was very educational,
exciting, and a trip to remember. If and when I can, I hope to return and
extend this to Shiloh, Vicksburg and so on. Wonderful experience, and the
National Parks are brilliant, as are their staff.

Sorry, but I'm still excited by it!
