Wow... Thought BRU had gone by the wayside many years ago. I too used it a long time but hard drives outpaced the SCSI tape drives I was using.
And having said that, i now make backups from HD to HD on separate machines using RSYNC. Many people also use UNISEN too. Not sure that would serve your purposes.
