Finding missing file (or directory) for pam_mysql

Hi all!

Ok, I tried using strace on saslauthd, but it did not yield any clues as
to what file or directory it was looking for.

I also checked the cyrus sasl libraries and all the pertinent ones were
installed. Except OTP and ldap. I tried installing the sql auxprop
plugin, but that just messed up my server and writing more messages to
the logs (because I am not using the auxprop plugin.

One promising thing was: I installed compat-openssl097g and now, instead
of writing 4 error messages every minute, it just writes 1 error
message. Because the error is related to crypt(), it probably has
something to do with the openssl libraries, but I am afraid to
experiment further, and 1 message per minute, I can probably live with
(for now). But if anyone has any ideas, please throw them at me!

Thanks all!

Regards,
pascal chong
