I'm still here. Now working for Puppet Labs as a professional services
engineer based in London (consulting, teaching Puppet and travelling a
lot) .

Ran into Kurt Wall when I went to the company HQ in Portland :)

PS:  It looks like email works better if you actually hit send before
closing the browser (had this in the draft folder for a couple of
days)...
