[OT] Compaq computer reputation question

Compaq is HP's budget line. We get them sometimes. They are about the 
same as Dell's home computer line, the Inspiron. We haven't had any 
problems with the Compaq's, except that the performance is middling, 
especially if you are used to a high performance computer.
