I installed Kubuntu 10.4 on an old (circa 2001) Dell Inspiron 8100.
It keeps logging me out, so I'll be replacing it this soon.

I have OpenSUSE 11.2 on a desktop that's working well.

I was given a Dell Dimension 8100, another old machine -- USB 1.1
ports. With 1GB RAM and a 1Ghz+ processor, I think it's worth
keeping, but I haven't decided what to install on it.
