[O/T] Cheap laptops?

I want mostly a general purpose system. I don't play games or do video  
editing so superb performance isn't required. I mostly do some  
programming, excel worksheets(at times) and will likely watch a few  
videos now and again.

What is wrong with Dell? They have a generally good reputation for  
quality stuff. The Dell laptops I've had for work. Have always been  
reliable.

I prefer supporting US manufacturers so, seeing how MSI is a Chinese  
company, I'll likely go for the Dell. (no disrespect meant to those on  
this list who live outside the US)
