Groklaw (sort of) dealt with that, and, having followed this from the
beginning (was it really as long as that?) I would think that their
view is correct.

I would think that SCO would have to establish some form of "moral"
ownership in order for them to claim it as a right, then establish the
"ownership" of Linux, and, if that were indeed possible, then pay the
established "Owner(s)"  the market value. Establishing that value
would be fun too.

And then, of course, they'd have to find the cash......

Just my tuppence worth.
