Late feedback. The latest "release"[1] of sidux (Debian sid) named
moros offers EXT4 as the default. Since the sidux developers are
rather picky, it must be somewhat ok to use EXT4 now.
[1] A sidux release is really just a LiveCD snapshot of current sid
plus any local patches, kernel, latest artwork and installer. Older
"release" users just upgrade to be at the same level (rolling release,
but artwork does not change).
