I've had one for a year or two now -- the very first model, whatever that
was -- and like it a lot. At the time that I bought it, Netflix was the only
channel, which was my primary motivation -- although their selection of
streamable movies was pretty limited. Now, however, there are a multitude of
channels and Netflix has a growing selection of streamable movies.

Technically I've had no problems. I have mine configured to connect wirelessly
to my home router/hub. Once or twice it's lost it's Netflix registration but
it's takes only a few minutes to reregister. Streaming movies works well. For
the most part it's just like watching a DVD (or HD DVD). You can pause,
rewind & fast forward.

I was real excited to read about Google TV, but from what I've read lately,
you're much better off sticking with Roku for the time being.

If your primary interest is Netflix and you don't already have a Blu-Ray DVD
player you might consider buying one of the new Internet ready Blu-Ray
players that supports Netflix and you'll have one less box to worry about.

HTH!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all!
