It all depends on the distro, but most have few problems these days.
Unless you are running mega databases or extremely memory hungry
applications, you won't notice much difference with 64 bit. I ran
sidux (ie debian Sid) 64-bit for 6-8 months with no problems. Even the
flash plugins worked without a hitch.
