I haven't heard anything from him recently.

I'm still doing Linux systems, mainly CenTOS these days for
servers and Mac OS X on desktops.  I'm in the middle of a
week-long Plone bootcamp, where there are perhaps 3 Windows
laptops, and the rest Macbook Pros amongst the 30 or so
attendees.
