I have no XFS experience other than anecdotal... and personally I would not 
trust it. There seems to be specific circumstances that the filesystem will 
not recover itself after a hard shutdown. 

However, I do have a great deal of EXT3 and now EXT4 hands on experience. Ive 
never, ever lost a bit/byte of data with these  filesystems. And I've done 
some really, really brutal testing too... 

And yes, I was hoping for more than what I got in the LJ article. I don't even 
know why they bothered to print it....
