AFAIK, the problem is strictly related to unstable. I haven't tried
Gnome on sidux, but it would appear (I'm guessing) that the Gnome
maintainers push untested stuff more frequently than do kde or other
maintainers.The sidux developers just laugh when anyone brings up the
possibility of a Gnome variant.
