I just tried it yesterday and today and was a little bit disappointed. I
just replaced my home desktop with a new motherboard ASRock X58 Extreme
that supports i7 and up to 24G DDR3. I tried FC12 x32 first; after
loading vmlinuz and initrd.img the installation stopped with some kernel
panic. Disabling the onboard LAN and some other settings does not help.
Then I tried FC12 x86_64. At least it passed that part, asked me to
select language then asked me to provide the installation images. The
virtual console showed it couldnot find the DVD drive which it booted
from there. :(. 

Then I used the FC11 DVD. The installation went perfectly without any
problem. I will just stick with FC11 atm ( Just learned this acronym
from some recent threads on our forum :)  )
