It seems either Karmic runs great or is a complete failure depending
on the hardware it's installed on. I had numerous problems with
Jaunty, but on my home PC, netbook (using UNR) and work PC, everything
has been flawless. My home PC was especially bothersome, but the
proprietary ATI drivers are working fine, audio has improved, no
problems that I have found yet.
I've found Ubuntu no better or worse than Fedora, OpenSuse or
Mandriva. I use Ubuntu LTS in the same ways I use CentOS and Debian,
for a stable OS. So, my experience with Karmic has been good and I'm
pleased with the results....so far.

PS, hate to sound like a noob, but what is Fedora ATM or Ubuntu atm?
At the moment? Referring to the latest release?
