Nope, not a powerhouse like my pair of Quad Core Q6600 development
systems are, but no slouch compared to the Slot A 650 Dekstop it replaced
2 years ago. anyway, the point was that the machine SHOULD have been
more than adequate for the task, but KDE 4.2.4 is SUCH a DOG PIG.
Am making my OWN Slackware 13 with kde 3.5.10 as the default window manager now.
I say, if KDE keeps the 4.x crap up, they WILL force me to become a
UBUNTU/gnome user ...
Anyway, pretty much the consensus in internet land is the KDE 4.x is STILL
at least a YEAR away for production.
