Google Mail Over IMAP

I think I have a different setup. I'm subscribed to this list using my 
drizzle.com account, but my google account is for a different domain. 
However, I do receive all my various email accounts through my google 
apps account, and can reply using each email address. When I reply using 
my drizzle.com address the sent mail goes  to that imap server, not my 
google app account. Different than yours, I'm sure, since your 
jamesmcdonald.id.au account is probably a google apps domain. (yes?)
