To my mind it (KDE4) made many of the same mistakes as Vista . e.g. 3 
clicks to goal instead of 2.

Widgets and sliding menus are really exciting... once. But in the end 
you just want to be able to find things.

And the "no wait this component is still on v3.x of KDE" and all the 
choppy integration... helps one makes up ones mind to continue with 
something else.

I keep trying it but keep going back to 'simple' Gnome.
