extarnal disk prferences

I am in need of a couple of 1 TB external disks. I have just had a bad
experience with a LaCie Big Disk (as have a few others I know with other
large capacity LaCie drives), and so I am looking for a new brand.

I am after FW/400 or USB2, with the former being the preference. 1 TB
capacity. Let the suggestions roll:
