Is curl more likely to be installed by default than wget?

I think it depends on which distro you use and which group packages you 
often install.
On my RHEL5 systems ( virtual hosts under Xen ) I have both of them 
after an installation with base, core and text-internet.
On my FC9 installed with default installation as a desktop, I have wget 
but not curl.
