I still have sentimental attraction to SuSE. My first successful Linux
install was SuSE 6.1. I got all the way to the text prompt, and didn't
know what to do next. The funny machine translated book that came with
the software was helpful nevertheless. After I replaced my video card
and got Open Linux to work, I continued to try SuSE, having discovered
the magic of multiple booting. The printed SuSE documentation got
better and was very useful.

I still like SuSE. For one thing, it is now the only Linux that will
run hoary Word Perfect 8.x without problems. That is enough to keep me
in the ranks.
