CentOS in trouble?

Well this isn't good news. I can see one of two things, everything
gets resolved or CentOS gets forked into another project. One of the
downsides of non-commercial open source projects (Tao and Whitebox
essentially giving way to CentOS). Now I just upgraded a couple of
servers from CentOS 4.x to 5.x and I have to decide if I stay or go
to, gulp, Ubuntu and possibly a Ubuntu/Debian mix. That would be only
if CentOS couldn't fork quick enough to another project.

I was working with a vendor yesterday who also uses a lot of CentOS. *SIGH*
