A dicom file is a file format that is used for MRIs and x-rays. There
are lots of free file readers for these types of files for XP and for
the Mac. You don't need the stuff that came on that disk other than the
dicom files themselves, probably in the DicomDir. I found a file reader
for the Mac called QuickDicom that works fine but that doesn't help you.

Just do a Google search on dicom reader and you will find lots of stuff.
