DHCP server won't start at boot; starts fine afterwards

Not sure how to "have /etc/init.d/network start before dhcp[d]" but the
interface config file is set up with ONBOOT=yes.
FWIW, I've performed a 'yum remove NetworkManager' and it is now off the
system... Had to manually restart my network, but it's up and running.
I'll reboot soon and see what happens.
