any exports on ripping dvds out there?

1.  Laying out printed circuit boards and schematic capture (an app 
called Eagle).
2.  Mechanical CAD (an app called VariCAD).

In essence, I use the linux box for work.  I use the Mac for stuff like 
iMovie.  I also use it for webpage composition (but I also do that on 
the linux box; I used SeaMonkey).
