My first impression is that Joomla is a bit more advanced. At least,
it seems they have kept the
data and layout separate. How well, I guess I will find out. I will be
trying it.
I am hoping to make an MSQL-free system. Nothing political about
current ownership. I just like
the idea of an application keeping it's own data. I am sure if I did
this for my job or on a larger
scale, I would love a central database. Makes backup easier if all
apps keep their data in some
predictable place. It was not a strong requirement.
