Macs as well. I bought this a year or so ago after having the hard drive
fail on my Mac Mini, and couldn't get HP's drivers for my older scanjet
(don't ask about backups :-). VueScan recognized it immediately, and
basically Just Works(tm). Support has also been excellent when I have had
questions.
One thing I miss though is the ability to set an increment on the file
generation counter that would make it easy to handle scanning two-sided
documents in an ADF. Scan the odd number pages starting at 1 incrementing
by 2, then turn the stack over and scan the even number pages starting at
the highest even numbered page derementing by two to end up with files
numbered by pages. I have a python script that will handle this, but it
would be nicer if VueScan did it for me.
