Oh, so death has become the topic.

Well, as this is the big holiday season in Panama, as far as getting
anything done goes, might as well be dead.

Let's see:  Independence from Columbia, Flag Day, "Cries from Los
Santos" day, Colon Day, Independence from Spain.  Somewhere around six
days off here *banks closed, etc., might as well close the country).

December is just as bad:  Mother's Day, Xmas, etc.

Country should reopen for business again in Jan.  Only one holiday
that month:  Murderer's^WMartyr's Day -- when US soldiers supposedly
killed Panamanian protesters in the Canal Zone (gee, I don't remember
US soldiers ever carrying 22 caliber weapons in 1963 or being trained
to shoot people facing them in the back, especially with nothing
behind them to ricochet the bullets off).
