It is ! JavaOne ! This year I have spent *much* less time in the hotel 
and more time with people in the exhibition floor :) and I am lucky 
when were there. My two clients get some technical problems with their 
wireless carrier companies and it was pretty difficult to get some 
senior technical contacts to solve these problems and switching the 
carrier had been considered as a solution. While hanging out there, I 
talked to two people from those carriers who understood immediately what 
the problems we have and gave me information as well as contacts that 
can help me to fix it.

Participated to some "phone-lotteries" but did not win any but a 
"screaming monkey" :)

Didn't get the movie ticket from Oracle like last year. The line was too 
long to sign up.

Did see some upcoming phones from Nokia, Sony Erricson and Motorola. 
Nice-with-a-lot-of-(programming)-feature phones but be sure they are 
expensive.


Will do a city-sight-seeing tour tomorrow.
