Actually the first models screen resolution isn't high enough according
to reviews meaning some dialogs buttons are outside the screen area.
The size of the keyboard means that people with big fingers may feel
cramped. If people want desktop style functionality it may be best to
get a laptop with 14"+ screen
The 4GB of solid state storage might not be enough for some people. (The
latest 8 GB model fixes both the above issues - I hear)
I am actually a fan of the eeePC and hope to get one myself, but I've
spent a fair amount of time on YouTube watching product reviews from
several different sources to garner the above. It may pay to do the same
re laptop choices.
