The whole Novell-Microsoft relationship seems bizzare.

First lawsuits, Then
Novell and Microsoft with their interoperability agreement and mutual
cooperation, and now more lawsuits.
I think if I were Microsoft, I'd want nothing to do with Novell, and If I
were Novell, I certainly wouldn't want to cooperate on anything.
