BareBone System Info

Ok, I finally have some money and going to replace some of the aging Systems 
around here.

I am going to invest 2 of the Quad Core Q66000 Intel based system. This will 
have Slackware 12.0 on them and run VMWARE Windows XP ...

Anyone know anything about this motherboard?
XFX nForce 680i LT SLI Motherboard , good , bad indifferent?

And any place to get the hardware REALLY cheap.

My Specs are going to be:

Mid Tower Case (Need the USB PORT's on top), Quad Q6600 Processor, 4GB ram, Dual 
Layer Light Scribe DVD recorder, 500Gb SATA 3 Disk, nVidia PIC-E video card with 
256M Video RAM.

Any Suggestions on where to go to get this stuff or alternatives?
